Food Pantry

Helping In His Name, Inc (Food Pantry) is an ecumenical, non-profit organization that provides temporary emergency help to the unemployed, the under employed, to elderly people on fixed incomes, and single parents on a weekly or monthly basis. No one with a legitimate need is refused help.

The Food Pantry will feed more that 1,800 people every month. Although this is an emergency crisis center, often they area able to help single parents change the course of their lives and move out of the unfortunate situations in which they find themselves. Many elderly people on fixed incomes with high medical expenses are able to supplement their food supply on a monthly basis. The Food Pantry volunteers also offer information on other agencies both governmental and not profit which may assist in other areas. St. Joseph’s donates sugar to the food pantry.
